Award Winning Filmmaker Christopher Hall is holding an exclusive retrospective of some of his experimental short films from the past fifteen years.
Made in collaboration with Aikido World Champion, Scott Allbright (USA 1995), Shodokan is an innovative new take on the art of Aikido. The film is also the latest in a number of films that Christopher has made working closely with other artists from a number of backgrounds.
Tonight he will be introducing some of those films, as well as Shodokan, and talking about the processes involved in such collaborations.
An Associate Artist with Award Winning Theatre Company, Third Angel, Chris has also worked with the Choreographer and Bloomberg/Place Finalist Sarah Dowling and tonight will be showing some of the work made by those partnerships.
Chris has promised to have a bit of a rummage in his archive to find some old favourites and a few rarely seen films, for what will be an entertaining evening of experimental films.
